Daniels and Quinn, Cardiff area marriage 1910-ish
« on: Wednesday 18 October 06 16:51 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to trace a marriage between Florence Daniels and Michael Quinn in the Cardiff area some time before 1912.

As far as I can see, the couples oldest child was registered in Sep quarter 1912 in Cardiff district, but there may have been others before that. (Without mothers maiden name its a bit of a wild guess)

I am assuming that Florence is the same one as on the 1901 census born in Llantrisant in 1890, but until I get her Marriage details I can't be 100% sure

Many thanks

Glen

Sorry, I'm confused. Isn't mother's maiden name Daniels?
Scott, Dowdeswell (Merthyr Tydfil), Jones (Loughor and Merthyr Vale), Roberts (Nelson), Prichard (Collenna and Cefn Fforest); Evan Roberts (Corwen and Amlwch); Scott (Pentre); Scott (Ancrum); Thomas (Pantywaun and Bedlinog); Morgan Jones (Ystradfellte); Bowen (Loughor); Jenkins (Bridgend); Thomas Dowdeswell (b. Gloucester, 1829).

That's correct, the mothers maiden name is Daniels, but the birth indexes for June Quarter 1911 and before don't show the mothers maiden name, so it would be a wild guess which children born in Cardiff were this couple's.
