Hooker Family Bible - Sussex

This is my paternal family name.  I was told by my late Mom that my paternal grandfather had a very large family bible that he gave to someone after his death in 1953 in Margate in Kent where we were living at the time.  Mom said there wasn't much family info in it but there were some dates.

After I started my family history I tried to trace this bible - not to get it back, but to get a copy of some sort of the family info inside.  I placed an ad in a Margate paper and the son of the man who had now passed on contacted me but his Mom could not remember what had happened to the bible.  Someone else contacted me and described it and said they would try and find out what had happened to it.  I never heard from him again.

If anyone knows of this bible I would love to get a copy of the info in it.
