Help required again please

Hi, Im back again with another question, im sure you experts can sort it out for me.

1, I cant find John Wilkes in the 1901 census.

2, Can any one work out his fathers first name.

John was 20 in 1909

Wasn't John born in December?
That's after the census

John was born 1889 so shouldnt he be in the 1901 census? or am i getting mixed up

Forgot to mention the pick is taken from his marriage cert in 1909.

Where did John's marriage take place?

I can find one John WILKES with a father George in the 1901 census but John's occupation is given as colliery labourer.

Have you found him in any other census?

If the above John is not yours then he may have been abroad in the army - but probably too young.

John married Freances Emma Hadland at St Georges Church, Darlaston, county of Stafford.
