1861 Census Harriet (Completed)
« on: Sunday 22 October 06 11:21 BST (UK) »
Hello

I think the husband of this person may have died in 1856, but I am wondering if Harriet Lewis born about 1814 was still in the Axbridge area of Somerset.  I have had no luck in finding them both on the 1861 and 1871 censuses as yet.

Hoping she can be traced.

Many thanks Ewan

More clues please Ewin, such as husband's name & birth year/place; Harriet's birth place, if you've found then on 1851, were there any children, that we could use to locate parents on later censuses.

I've found a Harriet Lewis age 45 born Shipham, Somerset, wife of William Lewis age 42, Sawyer,  living in Shipham; that's in the Axbridge RD. with daughter Mary Ann age 11

Any use ? Regards John

Hello John

I have been searching for a Frederick and Harriet Lewis on this thread, but as I found a death record of a Frederick Lewis 1856 June quarter Axbridge, I   thought maybe it would be easier to just search for Harriet Lewis.  Of course, I don't know for sure whether this is the correct death record of my Frederick Lewis.

Hope this helps.
