Hi,
A while back I posted a lookup request which was quickly fulfilled

At the time I was unsure if the results were a match for my research. Now something has come to light that makes me think that the 1891 family, are indeed mine
I beleive that Matthias Ellis married Ellen in 1880, but I can't find a record of them living together in the 1881 census on the LDS website.
The only possible Matthias Ellis there is:
Dwelling 2 Good Hope Row
Census Place Normanton, York, England
Family History Library Film 1342103
Public Records Office Reference RG11
Piece / Folio 4573 / 67
Page Number 52
Martha ELLIS Head W Female 54 Little Horton, York, England House Keeper
Matthias ELLIS Son M Male 25 Whitwood, York, England Coal Miner
Samuel ELLIS Son U Male 17 Hunslet, York, England Coal Miner
John GREGORY Boarder U Male 25 Pendleton, Lancashire, England Coal Miner
Which if he was married, but living at home with his mother might make sense, and this is the same Matthias and family that
LindafromOz found for me on the 1871 census. However she didn't tell me where they were living so if anyone could provide this information, I would be very grateful.
Also If anyone could find this family on the 1861 census, that would also be of great help. I believe that Matthias Ellis was born between 1855 and 1859 in Whitwood or Normanton (effectively the same place), Yorkshire.
Any leads would help me immensely.
Thanks,
Anthony
