searching for michell clan. my grandfather was john alexander mitchell from fraserburgh. he had a brother robert who married carrie chalmers and another brother william who married mary tennant. there parents are john mitchell and eliza stewart. eliza was born about 1868. my grandfather married lyla ann mcclennan williamson and they settled into the barracks at fort george inverness, where john mitchell also known as jack was a sgt in the seaforth highlanders. they had one daughter, my mother vera may mitchell born 8.12.1935
