Brown's in Forfarshire

Does anybody have any information or research on the Brown family name ?  It looks like my relaitives David Brown came from Longforgan in around the late 1700's. Possibly born around 1775 ? Any info would be welcome on the Brown family in Perthshire or also in Forfar Angus. Thanks in advance for your time ....

i have brown my great great grandfather joseph brown was born in cuper angus forfar scotland in 1854 or 1855

he got married to elizabeth mcClinton in 14/04/1882 in maybole
brown family mcclinton (and variants), mcfarlane, buchanan,murray,caskie(and variants) hay family. mcpherson family.mckenzie.whiteside.nichol

Hi, just noticed your comment here am researching a Brown family from the same area, a capt charles Brown from forgan would this ring a bell
