1871 Look up? Richard Spencer's family

Hi,

I'm trying to trace the family of RICHARD and ELIZABETH SPENCER. In 1881, they were living in Jachin Street, Cleckheaton, with their children: James (13), Eliza Jane (9), Sam (6) and John Richard (4).

I would be grateful if someone could identify the family for me in the 1871 census.

It would be absolutely fantastic if anyone could trace Richard Spencer (born c. 1834) back through the earlier censuses!!

If you can give detail such as where Richard Spencer may have been hanging out around 1851, together with fathers name and occupation (Marriage cert info) , then it may be worth putting in a specific request for that year, as many places were name-indexed by local societies for that year.

Posting title should be 1851 census, "County & Town"name for best response

Have sent for the marriage cert (Dewsbury, I believe, covers Cleckheaton) and will pursue the censuses when I get more info.
