Hi

I have found my Jennie  in 1891 as a Nurse domestice servant

working for the Morse family in 9 High Street in Chipping Barnet, Hertfordshire

She is 22 years old and single and born in London.

I have her marriage date but cannot find her birth (not as Jenny/Jennie or Jennifer anyway) in 1869 to 1871 in London.

I have found a few but on more investigation they arn't her.

Would she have been in any directories or electoral rolls in those days?

Too early for females to have been on the Electoral role ...

What about the marriage - do you have the actual Cert, which will identify her father and also give us a cross check on her age ... was the surname spelled the same on the BMD Index as the 1891 census ?

How about Jane Caroline Eliz (1871 Census) and/or Jane C (1881 Census) ?

perhaps Jane Caroline Elizabeth born Jun 1863 Lambeth ? (not yet in ancestry.com or FreeBMD indexes)

perhaps Jane Caroline married in Jun 1894 ?
