Hi Tanja...Yes, I've trawled through several records on many websites looking for Rose Ann but to no avail. We've already established that she didn't remarry after George's death and I've even looked through the Yorkshire BMD for Hull records in case she may have moved with my gran here but they only go upto 1924, even then, they have no records from 1900-1924 for any Handleys.  I suppose I could go to the archive centre in town to have a look there, although I've never used the place before. I'll let you know how I get on.

Have you heard any news from your sister in-law regarding the Melford/Handley family tree? Please let me know what she has to say, you never know, we could be second cousins or something.
