Chapels in Llanelidan
« on: Thursday 26 October 06 14:26 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I am still (without any luck so far) trying to trace a marriage certificate for my ggrandparents Evan Price and Sarah ann Roberts. I have looked through FreeBMD, ancestry and some archive records at Ruthin to no avail. I am nearly 100% sure that they did marry as Sarah Ann's father was a Wesleyan minister. Their first child was born in Ruthin district 1895 and Sarah Ann is recorded as being a Price formerly Roberts on the certificate which means she did marry. So if anyone can inform me of any Chapels that were/are still in the Llanelidan district that they might have got married at I'd be most grateful. I don't know if it would have made a difference but Evan was a widower in 1891.
Kind Regards
Nerys

Apparently there were only three Chapels in the Parish of Llanelidan see;
