Help to date this photo please

Would someone be able to tell me a time frame as to when the attached photo may have been taken please.
Iam assuming that McLeod may have been the photographers name from Stornoway. The lady in the photo also had the name MacLeod.

I would appreciate any help on this Thanks

I would say early-mid 1890s, judging by the clothes she is wearing and the style of the card.
Yes, McLeod would be the photographer's name, and Stornoway the place where he had his studio.  I can't find anything offhand about the photographer, but the local historical society might be able to help you, if you want to pin the dates down definitely:

Thanks for your help once again Prue. I have just been given all these wonderful photos of our family some taken in Scotland and some here in Australia and Iam trying to piece together where they fit in and in what generation.
