James Daly Indian Mutiny 1920
« on: Friday 27 October 06 20:29 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me.  Some time ago someone kindly sent an email with details of a book about the events of the Indian Mutiny in 1920 .

Unfortunately I have lost this .

James Daly was apparently executed by the British Army for his part in this rebellion.

I believe there is a memorial near Tyrellspass.

Can any please help

Many Thanks

A Daly

I have an interest in the mutiny and have most of the books on it. The three childrens statues on the green in tyrellspass was put up in the 1960's I think and it stood for youth looking to the future and commemmerates those who died in wars and also JJ Daly who is buried in Tyrellspass also. If I can help I am happy to do so.
 Tom.
