I am always interested in any Moseley,Mosely,Mosley especially those born in the Cubley, Marston Montgomery,  Scropton, Norbury, Roston, Snelston, Boylestone, areas of Derbyshire and the Stoke On Trent, Tutbury, areas of  Staffordshire.

My branch of the Moseley family moved to Breconshire in about 1772/4

Regards,
Ian.

Hello,
My mother was a Moseley, and my line goes back to Stafford.  The furthest back i can confirm myself is Edwin John Moseley who married Ann Bee in 1854.   However, my 2nd cousin has traced the line back to the 1400's or so.  I think to the De Mosleys.
Ring a bell?

Hello Hollie,

We have been in contact before regarding our family, I was pleased to see your reply yesterday.

I am interested in your cousins research and would like to see her records and connections.

I and other members of the family have spent many hours researching P.R.'s, census, BMD certificates, wills, family bibles, etc and have managed to get back to 1640, all the information has been checked.

But we are now stuck, so I would love to see your cousins research.

Regards,
Ian

Always researching Moseley,Mosely,Mosley's.

Hello again!
Well after searching a bit more, i have traced the Moseleys back to 1200. I did this through family search so could be wrong as i have not checked it.  Please e-mail me at hollylianne15@gmail.com and i can let you know what i've got.

Hi- old message but you may still be looking; Thomas Moseley, cordwainer,Tideswell and his wife were mentioned in Samuel Moseley's will of 1823. Presumably brother (sibling?) of Samuel, also Joseph, mason of Sheffield and wife Mary. Also mentions Hannah Moseley, wife of Thomas Ashton, may have been his sister(or daughter), my link into this. Scourced from Inces pedigrees available on wirksworth.org site. Hope this helps
