Manchester / Salford researcher required
« on: Friday 12 November 04 08:30 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone recommend a researcher in the Manchester / Salford area?  I need someone who can get to the archives and find out about a couple from the late 19th / early 20th century.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Check out: http://www.manchester.gov.uk/libraries/arls/agents.htm

I can recommend Roslyn Livshin but doubtless the others are good too.

Thanks, I had checked out the site and contacted 2 researchers.  Neither have got back to me.  I'll try your recommendation.
