The E&W 1881 Census lists my g/g/grandparents Thomas and Eliza (nee Miller) Carthy living in Brighton, Sussex; both with birthplace Dublin. Their ages were 41 and 28, which suggests they were born c. 1839 and c. 1852 respectively.
They married in 1874 in England.
I would really appreciate it if someone could kindly expedite any available information about their Irish parents and family details for me. My g/grandfather was also named Thomas, so there is the possibility this was a perpetuation of this first name.
