Problems here ... I'll be in the Central Library in Royal Avenue on Saturday morning and would love to meet all those members who will be in Belfast at some stage. I will be in the Local Studies section of the Central Library until 8.00pm this evening .. Hope to be here tomorrow and Friday until about the same time. I took a long lunch today with a friend who I last met about twenty years ago.

Right ... who is in Belfast this coming weekend for the Meet ??? Will any of you be free tomorrow night as there is a Traditional Irish music session at the Rotterdam Bar? That would be a great opening event.
As far as I'm aware there's no cover charge.

Sunseeker and his wife (from Australia) and myself managed a mini-meet today in Ballymena  :).

Erm...Sainsburys carpark, then Tesco carpark - bit limited for choice of meeting places on a Sunday morning - then we strolled around the town a bit taking in the location of some of the churches/library/museum and having a chat about availability of records etc in the area.

Mini-meets can be good if people are coming to an area they have never been to before and can meet with someone who knows or has (as I have) done some research in the area themselves and can share useful pointers and help people get their bearings more quickly.
