You have me confused with the birth of Mary Osborne you have posted on this thread. Born 1902, you state Parents as James and Jane Blane, then informant as Samuel (father). I am guessing that Jane being Samuel's wife you mean Samuel and Jane as parents? I am curious as i don't have this child in my tree!

Sorry Gadget, thanks for all the other stuff, I had all then names (with the exception of Mary curiously - my cousin had it in his, not sure how i missed it).

Your list of children for Samuel and Jane is all correct except the emission of Fergus Osborne b. 1885.

Did Jane die before Sam remarried or did they divorce? He seems to have been married to his job! I thought i had a copy of the marriage register for Sam and Margaret marriage but can't seem to find it right now.

It might be worth you checking for Jane's death on Scotlands People to verify whether she died before Samuel remarried.

married Sam 23/09/1910 @ Hurlford Masonic Lodge (Sam was a mason and a member of Lodge No.1 in Scotland which was apparently in Ochiltree). Ref 611/02 0010

died 15/11/1939


Jane died 25/01/1907 ref 599/00 0009

I have no record of any issue between Sam and Margaret, but then I have never looked!!

I knew i had it all somewhere!
