His date of birth should be 13/05/1913

I cannot find him on the ancestry site.

I wish this would happen to me

Ordered up Eric's birth cert and his parents marriage cert.

Found a rootschatter tracing the same family. 

So in about 24 hours from getting the certs dated 1906 and 1913 we have gone back to about 1712.

I would just like to say a great big public THANK YOU to redshank  for his invaluble help in this connection.

Redshank now has a distant relative living in South Africa ******* amazing
