Brown death look up please

Hi, can anyone help with a look up for a Charles Brown born 1845 fife, he may have been called captain and was in dundee, fife areas looking fot information on a death to see if it includes hia wife and where and when.

Could you perhaps tell us when was the last date that you have him alive and do you have any children for him?

On the Scotlands People website there is a death of a Charles Brown, aged 57, 1900, in the St Andrew district of  Dundee, Ref 282-4 1182.
