Hi, can somebody please tell me the proper abbreviation for Somerset? Like Yorks, Lancs etc...I've looked around but can't find anything. Thanx much!

Apparently Somerset abbrev. is  "Somset"

Don't think it is official but I have also seen Somerset abbreviated as Som.

That might be all I have room for in my name block after spelling out "Congresbury" :)

Thinking on it, "Somset" isn't much of an abbreviation...
