Edgeworths in Kildare

Has anyone come across this surname around Naas. My rellies were there around 1850s/60s. John Edgeworth was married to a Bridget Miller. Children include Christopher, Bridget, Mary, Michael, Catherine, John.

Hiya skaville,

The Eircom Directory may help you to find living Edgeworths. The surname does not appear to be an Irish one. Would your ancestor have had connections with the Army? I've a friend in Kildare so I'll ask if she knows of Edgeworths still in the area.

All the Best, Chris

Hiya,
I dont know of any army connections. I believe there may be a living Walter Edgeworth in Dublin. His phone number isnt working though. Also, the Kavanaghs that run the 'Diggers' pub are my mothers cousins!!!

There are 8 Edgeworths in total in the Eircom phone book. 6 are listed around the Dublin areas; 1 at Ballymore Eustace Co Kildare and 1 in Lucan which is midway between Naas and Dublin.
