Does anyone have access to Parish records for Aberford in West Yorkshire please.  I am looking for Frederick Charles Tyzack born there in 1825/6.  I can find him on all the censuses except the 1841.  There is a Charles Tyzack on there - but am sure it isn't him.

Hello Silas, why are you sure its not him, is it the age, in 1841 census a lot appeared a differant age because it was rounded up/down.
If you were looking for a record then there is the following on the IGI

FREDRICK CHARLES TAZZACK
christened 30 JAN 1825   Aberford, Yorkshire, England
Mother:  MARY ANN TAZZACK

Maiden - how on earth did you find that !!  I know the spelling is wrong, but that must be him.  I will take a look. Does it not say who the father is?

Have looked Maiden and found it - wonder why the father's name is not there though - any ideas?

Hi,
luckily Aberford was a small parish, so I didnt type in a surname on search
there was no other detail on the IGI,
in cases like that (Ive found several) it usually means the mother is a single woman, it may give more detail on the original record but often not the fathers name.

Very sorry,  I seem to have posted this as a reply to the wrong message.  Not sure how to remove it. ???

I have a Martha MARSHALL b 1821 d 1891 who m William TYZACK b 1821 d 1872.  They had daughter, Mary b abt 1845 who m Thomas WEBB.   William TYZACK was an owner of a railroad spring factory in Doncaster.

My husband is descended from Mary's sister, Ann who m George CRAVEN.   I have more on this family.  If this is of interest please reply.
