« on: Thursday 09 November 06 14:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

Decided to try tackle this  ???

I know Tongwynlais is in the parish of Whitchurch, Cardiff.  Does anyone know of what burial grounds there is within the area?

Looking for Rees family burials so it can be difficult locating.

Many thanks, any help appreciated

What period are we looking at here?
If we're pre-municipal cemeteries, I imagine we'd be looking at St Mary's Whitchurch. The Glamorgan FHS has published a microfiche of monumental inscriptions for there.
There was also a "chapel of ease" at St Michael's, Tongwynlais, though I confess I have no idea if that meant people were buried there.
