I am just beginning a new branch of my family tree.  So far the only details I have on the Mulholland line is

Joseph Mulholland married to Ellen Mulholland nee Kellahin, and as far as I know at this stage, have one daughter named Lillias.  Lillias was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland.

The surnames sound Irish to me but I have no evidence of that.

If anyone could shed any light on this family I would be very grateful.

I have Mullhollands in Ayrshire too, (Mary Mullholland born around 1827, died 1870 married to Thomas Laurie).  Her parents were John Mullholland and Janet ?? according to the death certificate.  Kilmarnock area.  Once I have more on this family, perhaps there might be a connection.
