Thanks for your help. Maybe poor Louise Ellis died or went out to service by the time the 1901 cencus was taken.I'll have to start looking in the Yorks. death record

Many thanks.Yes that's my louise. Nearly all my Yorkshire relatives were connected with the clothing industry. My Mum worked for a firm called Mays in Leeds. Sadly Ilost her aged 34 when Iwas just a little girl, but I'm very proud of my Yorkshire roots.
