Hi...
'Kezia(h) Farrant b Potterne Wiltshire 1855..drowned in London Feb 6th  1886  aged 30. Death cert issued in West Ham

Wife of James b1846 Clare..Suffolk.

How do I find out more about the circumstances surrounding this?
Would it have been reported in a local paper?

My opinion on this is, if the cert states there was an inquest then there should be some records somewhere, BUT I have discovered myself that often they have been destroyed or don't exist now, there was possibly a write up in a paper, possibly where the incident took place.

Hopefully you will find what you are after don't give up on it.
