( London) 1851 Census Lookup Request Please For Mark Rossiter

Hi,

I am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of Mark Rossiter born circa 1842 in the City Of London. The 1881 Census has his occupation as sawyer in later years which may or may not be his father's trade.

Mark later married Lucy Morse in the December Qtr of 1861 at Newington Registration District.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Interestingly, earlier censuses put him as b. earlier than 1842

1871 census (fits with children in 1881 although Lucy is now 'Louisa')

Many thanks for that.

I found an entry on the IGI which has Mark born 1838 and christened on November 4th 1838 at St George In the East, Stepney. Maybe there was an incorrect recording of age in the census which isn't unknown.

Must admit to being confused about Louisa being recorded as wife as I cannot find a marriage on FreeBMD after the 1861 marriage to Lucy Morse.

I cannot find the death of Mark on the BMD but think it must have been pre 1851,as two of the brothers were in the poor house.
 Mark 12,Benjamin 9,Ben born Stepney.
Grove house for the infant poor,Brixton rise? Lambeth.
