Sue

Glad it went well at your end!  Good idea to get your students to put that prefix on their posts.  :)

For the benefit of you or anyone else who do something similar in the future it's worth reminding participants to post an enquiry in one place only.  I think I was one of three people pursuing the same family independently off three different threads.  Given the circumstances I'm not complaining, but your students might have got more out of it if all the relevant info was on one single thread.

There's probably some loose ends on some of the threads posted by your students - will they or someone else be looking in to pick up any further responses?  If so, is it worth us checking out any further info to square the circle?

Now will this lead to a leap in RootsChat membership, upsetting the betting on the 40,000th Rootschatter?

Thanks all,  the students did get a little confused as to which board they were posting on but hopefully when they have more time to look through the boards they will be OK.

I must say Biker caused a bit of a squeel - 2 ladies were most impressed when both their questions were answered within second of each other and they wanted to know who this "Biker" was. ;D

Cheers again

Ooh ahh fan club  ;D

It was great to see everyone student I think get at least some response and most got a great deal of information very quickly (wish I'd had such a jolly introduction to FH).

Sue, in particular I do hope the person researching this thread comes back as I'm unsure whether they saw the link on the last page (if only I'd Googled first!!!!) which is peachy http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,197008.0.html

Again well done Sue, we'll look forward to your next one  ;)  A glass of vino in order methinks.

The 'Yavitch Formula' I use accounts for these blips, Julian, so 9 Feb still holds strong for me!

PS

Sorry I missed this at the weekend, Sue B - sounds like you had a great time!
