Hi Annette ellen

This are the children showing to Alexander and Jane:

2. ALEXANDER SMITH Birth: 01 JUL 1822 / Christening: 01 FEB 1828 Dundee, Angus, Scotland
3. JEAN SMITH  Birth: 11 APR 1826 / Christening: 11 FEB 1828 Dundee, Angus, Scotland
4. ELIZABETH WATT SMITH Christening: 08 FEB 1828 Dundee, Angus, Scotland
5. Archibald Smith Birth: About 1824 Of, Dundee, Angus, Scotland

The christening dates above are all submitted but the births (except Archibald's) are all actual extracts from the OPRS. Almost looks like a job lot on the christening dates!

Hi Monica,

Thanks for the info regarding Alexander Smith and Ann Archibald.

You have answered that this is the children showing to Alexander and Jane, are you meaning Alexander and Ann?
It does answer some information that I have been given, and was never sure if it was right on not.
Thanks
Regards Annette Ellen.

Hello Annette.

Just on the remotest of remote chances...do you happen to have in your SMITH records mention of a Catherine SMITH born Dundee about 1781? She married Sylvester Oliver (Olipher) in 1795 at Mains and Strathmartin.

Trying to find her family amongst all the Smiths.

Cheers from Australia.

Elsie
