1851 cencus gives her birthplace as Huddersfield and she was 25, so born about 1826 - should help narrow it down a bit.

Do you have the 1851 cencus info?  :)

IGI has a Jane Sayles born 30 May 1824 Quarmby cum Lindley (which is  near Huddersfield) Salendine Nook Meeting House-Particular Baptist, parents Josh. Sayles & Susannah
If you enter just the parents' names on IGI site it gives you four baptisms for children of those parents in and around Huddersfield

Because the church at Salendine Nook is Baptist there are "Dedications" as follows -

Mary SAYLES
bap 10 Apr 1819
father Joseph
mother Susannah
abode Cliffend

Benjamin SAYLES
bap 30 May 1821
father Joseph
mother Susannah
abode Cliffend

These are the only children with this surname Dedicated between 1783 and 1822.

There is also a family named SAYLES buried at Salendine Nook - this is the MI
-

Charlotte SAYLES of Oakes died August 18th 1876 age 52 years.
Also Edgar son of Thomas Henry and Agnes MILNES and grandson of the above died January 28th 1899 aged 1 year and 6 months.
Also the above named Agnes MILNES died November 15th 1917 aged 66 years.
Also Susannah daughter of the above named Charlotte SAYLES died December 1st 1919 aged 70 years.
Also the above named Thomas HENRY MILNES died October 29th 1936 aged 82 years.

There are no SAYLES recorded in Lindley in 1841 or 1851.  There are quite a few MILNES there though.

Hi Susan,

Thank you for your response. I have been given some 1851 census info.
It is really amazing how when you get some more info that it goes together with what you already have.
Thank you.

Hi Claire,

Thank you for the information. I had some of it but a lot I did not have, so with what you have given me it will fill in some of the missing links.

Thanks again.
