Sarah Ann Chaplin is the Niece of Richard & Mary Chase on that 1851 page ...

the Birth Cert would most likely have to be obtained to be bulletproof, altho looking at Chaplin candidates in Benhall, theres only 1 family - Robert and Sophia, with a neat gap in kids ages in which to plug Sarah ....

Do you want the transcription ?

PS. Have you tried Parish Records - I dont know w/o checking if Benhall is on the IGI ?

As it is 8 months since you first posted this you may have found out this information.   The uncle and aunt were Robert Chase and wife Mary (nee Chaplin).   Sarah Ann was the illegitimate daughter of Alithea/Alethea Chaplin and baptised Benhall 6/4/1845.   Mary and Alethea were daus. of Henry and Sarah Chaplin - known children are: Mary bc.1812, Robert bc.1815, Henry bc.1819, Alethea bc.1822 and Sarah bc.1827 - all born at Benhall.   Henry was bc.1786 Benhall and wife Sarah c.1791.   Alethea was in Kelsale in 1841 and in Friston in 1851.   She married Thomas Partridge in 1851 and had at least 5 children with him - Aletha b.1852, Hilkiah b.1854, Eliza b.1856, George b.1858 and Joseph b.1860.   On the 1861 Census Sarah Ann is with them but surname shown as Partridge!

Hope this may help.

Regards
