I cant see William on 61 or 51 census not in Hulme area anyway.Havent found a marriage for William and Ann in either Manchester or Blackburn,as first 2 children were born Manchester I would assume thats were they would have married around 1860-64 .Will look again later though.

I have found a William Henry Threlfall marrying an Ann Carr on 29th August 1863 at Manchester Cathedral. Taking into acount their first child was born in Manchester 1864, do you think it would be safe to presume this is the marriage I am looking for?

Its got to be a definate possibility.Worth checking out.Maybe you can get a photo copy of marriage .I know they do them,but have never applied myself.

Did you find the baptism for Elizabeth Threlfall 27/5/1866 Manchester Cathedral parents William Threlfall and Ann.If you click on the batch number bottom right it will bring up all that batch of christenings you just put Threlfall in the surname and check out what other children they had in that area.

Theres an Ann Carr 16 cotton spinner unmarried b Salford Manchester living with dad James Carr 46 widower cotton spinner b Salford

Theres also an Ann Carr aged 5 on 1851 in Hulme which is where they say they were born on 91 census

I think I may have found Ann Carr, christened 11th May 1845 Manchester parents William Carr b. abt 1813 and Sarah b. abt 1817. Looks like it could be her.
