Seeking info on the following family, Roberts mother was my 2nd Great grandaunt.

Would like to know about Fanny's parents if possible as well.


ROBERT CLOSE   was born 13 January 1837 in Helmsley, N Yorkshire, and died in Peel Township,Ontario,Canada..  He married FANNY LONGMAN.  She was born 1840.

The IGI has the christening of John at the Cof E church in Shebbear, then the family turned Bible Christian (I thought so!!) - Samuel and James were christened at the Bible Christian chapel - mother's name Mary Balkwill (Yay!)
