1851/1861 Census look up for William CATTON

I am trying to find a William CATTON born Norfolk about 1812

He lived in Hunslet in the 1881 Census and his wife name was Sarah at that time.

On Ancestry there is a listing for a William CATTON on the 1861 born Norfolk abt 1814 and the wife is listed as Ann

On the 1871 Listing the wifes names is Sarah

Would someone please check the entries for William CATTON. Did he marry twice or was the name of Ann wrongly transcribed on the 1861.

Any children listed would also be a great help

Thank you for all the census information....That seems to be the right William Catton. He must have been married three times as he is with Sarah in 1881 and in 1884 married Elizabeth. He was in the Workhouse in 1891 a Pauper so life didn't turn out too good for him. Elizabeth was still alive and living with her granddaughter.

Just one question.....
In the 1861 for William and Ann CATTON


Are William age 5 and Charles age 3....sons or grandsons


William born abt 1840 is not with the family in the 1861 so thought he might have married young...

1861 William 5 and Charles 3 are sons -they are on 71 as sons too age 13 and 15 .
I noticed the William b 1840 -maybe he died before second William was born?

Would you mind giving me the full list for 1871.
Is the wife Sarah by that time.....
Luckily there are not too many bricklayers, born Norfolk about 1814 so it makes it easier to know it is the right William.

Thank You for that....I had seen that marriage before but couldn't relate it to William as it seemed too late.....now I know there was a wife before Sarah....One more mystery solved

Had a look on 1861 for Sarah Taylor -there are lots in Yorks abt the age of William's Sarah, but this is the only one I could find who was b Leeds-so may be a possibility?
