Greyshott - Bulls Farm
« on: Wednesday 22 November 06 13:04 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I am trying to locate an historical photo of Bulls Farm in Greyshott, but cannot locate any?

Bulls Farm no longer exists, but at the time there were Farm cottages etc on that land.

If anyone can assist, I would be very grateful.

Thank you.  Kind Regards, Karen

Hi Karen

If you try this link with an interesting history about Grayshott village http://www.johnowensmith.co.uk/books/gys1873855389.htm in early history it says that Bulls Farm is now Grayshott Hall Farm.

Thank you very much KerryB, that has now given me another lead.

Tuscany,

Grayshott (my spelling was incorrect of Greyshott!), is near Hindhead. Surrey.

Kind Regards, Karen

Hi Karen

I don't know if I am completely wrong here, but I tried googling Grayshott Hall Farm and got loads of pages for a Spa!!

Couldn't work out whether it was the same place or not.

Hi KerryB,

Yes, it is the same place, but just difficult to find any old photos of the farm at all.

Oh well, at least I know where to go to if my nails need doing....!!

Kind Regards, Karen

Thank you very much Prue, that is a very interesting website.  I will look at it further and establish if they have any Bulls Farm references.

Kind Regards, Karen

Sorry to come in on this correspondence so long after the initial exchanges. I'd be interested if you've found out anything else about Bull's Farm. My great grandfather and his family were living there in 1911.
