Toxteth Street Census after 1851
« on: Wednesday 22 November 06 21:04 GMT (UK) »
Does any one have access to the Street Census for Toxteth Park in the years following the1851 Census. I am tracking James Dooley wife Mary Ann and children who were living at 7 Windsor Street in 1851. Just wondered if any street Census were around after then.

Hi Erin

1861 census, Toxteth Park, 55 Essex Street
RG 9/2704 folio 12 pg 20 & folio 13 pg 21

Mary Ann Dooley; head; wid; 47; laundress; Lancs, Liverpool
James do; son; unm; 20; plasterer; Liverpool
Thomas do; son; 14; ap to plasterer; Liverpool
Mary A do; dau; 11; scholar; Liverpool
Elizabeth do; dau; 7; scholar; Liverpool
Joseph do; son; 5; scholar; Liverpool
Margaret do; dau; 2; scholar; Liverpool

James snr appears to have died & Mary Ann has changed her place of birth but this may be the enumerator getting carried away with Liverpool & dittos or who knows!  The children match up to 1851.
