Uttlesford Reg ---- Cameron

I have looked on the GRO and found a death of my great Aunt Catherine Cameron in Uttlesford Reg Q1 1978. She would have been 96/97.
I am trying to find out if and where she is buried. I have been in contact with Uttlesford and she is not in Radwinter Road. They suggested St Mary's Church as, I have been told she lived in Saffron Walden.

I wondered if there was a local paper an obituary might have been in?

Any help would be appreciated finding Catherine.

Hello Mel,

Just Google for the local newspapers in Bishop Stortford - there appears to be quite a few as it's on the Essex/Herts border. 

A better approach may be to check with the local funeral director.  The obituries in the local newspapers are instructed by the funeral directors so they will know which paper was preferred by the family.  Of course they will also know the details of the funeral because they will have arranged it.
