Marriage Look-up Surrey c 1770 Please?

Looking for any help finding a marriage of a Richard Wenlock HOLTON b.1750 to a Frances FARRAND. He dies in Clapham in 1806. So hopefully in this area?
Any idea's or clues greatly appreciated.

Stella, this is not very helpful but it will rule-out places to look.  The marriage didn't occur in rural Surrey as it's not on the Surrey Marriage Index (this would not include Clapham)  It's not on the IGI family search & not on Pallots Marriage Index

Would you happen to know if there is an "index" to the Clapham area at all?

Hi Stella,
I doubt very much if there is an online index to Clapham registers.
Bad news I'm afraid.  According to Familia, many of the Clapham registers were destroyed during WWII

Thanks for your help here. Shame about some of the records.
Will indeed have a good look at these sites, especially the Surrey History Service, looks like they have oodles of papers!I'll let you know if I find anything!
