Sparkes Family in Mullingar
« on: Friday 24 November 06 18:42 GMT (UK) »
According to his army record, George Sparkes served in the Northumberland Fusiliers, based at Mullingar, and married Fanny G Freeman 8 May 1882 in the Church of Ireland Mullingar. He was discharged from the Army on 4 Aug 1898 and lived at Belridere Terrace, Mullingar.

This is all the information I've been able to find out. Can anyone assist either with  BMD information about the family or census records etc.

I live in North Cumbria (Cumberland) and am willing to assist with research over here.

Thanks

I'm not connected to this family.  I was searching for information about my Gt.Gt. Grandfather, Henry Dale, also in the Northumberland Fusiliers and who also married in The Church of Ireland in Mullingar in 1882!

I wondered if you'd seen the 1911 Census entry for George & Fanny?
