Gunner George Smallbone OFC - Overton Practice Camp, Port Eynon, Nr Swansea
« on: Saturday 25 November 06 14:19 GMT (UK) »
Just wondering if I could trace what happened to George Smallbone.  I have a letter from him written to my aunt in October 1943.  His No. is given as 1777777 and he says he is one of a party of 10 making a new road in the camp and waiting for a posting.  He speaks of someone called May (his sister?).  I do not know anything about him apart from finding his letter in my late aunt's possession but thought it would be interesting to discover more.  Thanks
