i have traced william beardow back to chorlton in greater manchester
i would like to know if this is a commomn name for this district

There are no  Beardow's in 1851 Chorlton on Medlock

Just to confuse the issue there are 3 Districts of Manchester with the name Chorlton :

Chorlton
Chorlton on Medlock
Chorlton cum Hardy

the year is 1841 and in the death's register it only say's chorlton
