North Meols
« on: Tuesday 28 November 06 19:44 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone give me any info on North Meols? My grandfather's birthplace is Southport according to censuses, but the family was living in North Meols at the time. I know that North Meols was in W Derby, but was there just a village, or was it part of Southport, or just a registration district?
I think there must be a North Meols village today, because I'm sure I've seen the signpost.

Thanks Mo, I looked on Genuki, don't know how I missed it, it's big enough!
