Crighton and co, Manchester
« on: Tuesday 28 November 06 20:20 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I was wondering if anyone with knowledge of Manchester knows anything about a mechanical company in Manchester called Crighton and Company?

All that is known is Sir Robert Whitworth worked there in the early 1800s

I seem to have a huge amount of Crightons who all seem to be related and were all mechanics so was obviously trying to work out if this could have been their business!
Does anyone know how i could find out further information?

Forever hopeful

Hi Andrea,

OOPs  :-[, You're right, forgot the Art Gallery and the rather large park by the side of it.

It must mean something when I can remember pubs but not Art Galleries ::)

See ya
Dave
