Help reading Bolton address
« on: Wednesday 29 November 06 09:57 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Still trying to find Thomas Williams in Bolton 1861. I now have a new certificate dated 1864 but I can't read the address.
Any help appreciated... this would have been a grocers shop.

Many Thanks
Linda

Looks like Market Street to me.

Yes, I would say that too - the "M" looks the same as that in "Methodists"

Brilliant - now why couldn't I see that when it's now so clear? I've had it up on the screen all afternoon trying to trying to decipher it -

What's more important is I have visited Bolton and the only street I can remember is Market Street.

Thanks a million to both of you
Linda

Looks like 17 Market Street.
