1841 look up request

can anyone help me with finding GEORGE SCARBOROUGH on the 1841 census?  All I know is that he was born in OADBY about 1818.  He was married to MARY BARNES but I don`t know if she came from this area as well or when they married.  Are there any other SCARBOROUGHS listed from Oadby on this census?

Hi Linda

The 1841 census only states surname, forename, age, occupation and if born in the county or not. So there is no info on place of birth and also no index as yet. I had a look at Oadby on the 1841 census there was only one Scarbro listed there.

thanks for looking up the census and for the info you have given me.  It has given me a bit more to work on at least.  It seems that these names listed on the burials must have been related to my great great great grandfather george scarborough
