Hi, does anyone know if you can get hold on a coroners inquest report from 1921.
Thanks

Hi Jan

I think this is going to depend very much on where the inquest took place.  See this ref. for information from the National Archives: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/search/quick_search.aspx?search_text=coroner%27s+reports

See also this NA leaflet on Coroners' Inquests: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/RdLeaflet.asp?sLeafletID=175

Hi Jan.

There is a 75 years closure on surviving Coroners Inquests.

You usually find more graphic details in a newspaper report of the inquest, than in the actual coroners report.

Hi, I've been to the local library but couldnt find an inquest report in the local paper, there is a mention of the death.   The death took place in West Yorkshire.
