boscombe wiltshire records

Hi Everyone.

I have a massive brick wall and am asking for help!

I have a Benjamin Robinson who was born in Bostrome Hants in 1779. This information is on a Muster Roll for him from Kew. He served at the Battle of Trafalgar.

I have checked with Portsmouth and Winchester Record Offices and neither have the records.
Winchester suggested Holdenhurst but he isn't there but Portsmouth suggested Boscombe in Wiltshire.

Has anybody any access to Boscombe baptisms?

He got press ganged into the Navy and married in Portsmouth and then settled down here.

Any info would be appreciated

  Hi Jan Jan...I have just come off the Salvation Army Site where l was posting a search for someone. This person l was looking for was born in Boscombe Hampshire, which comes under Bournemouth now. I just wondered if this could be the place you needed as well?

I have no idea where it was and it's so frustrating!

Hope you don't mind me asking but what was the Salvation Army site?

All my Robinson's were in the Army and there seems to be very little info
