Hi I've found an Elizabeth Bonellie c1793 and William Bonellie c1795 living in Fife on the 1851 census, but I've not been able to find any other census details, if anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Hi Pam :)

Many thanks for the info, I've been totally stuck on these two, my 3x great grandparents. I knew that Elizabeth's maiden name was Martin and that they married in Dysart in 1816, but couldn't get any further as I didn't know she was born in Kenoway, and the possibility that she was born earlier than 1795 opens up new leads too, fingers crossed should give me the break I've been looking for. It's the right family as William is down on my 2 x great grandfathers wedding certificate as a shoemaker.

Yours Julie :)
