Cairns, Derry to Quebec 1823

William Cairns along with his mother, nigh 100 years and son James b in Limnavady 1818 and daughter b 1802 left for Montreal. I am sure other family was with them, however this is what apears in the 1888 Sellar's History. William
bought a farm on the Chateauguay River, in Ormstown. I am 5th generation in Canada and looking for links. Thank you
